Summer Holiday Programme
The International Education & Fun 2020/2021 Summer Holiday Programme is an exciting opportunity for international high school students from all over New Zealand to explore the country and experience a kiwi summer holiday. The Nelson-based holiday programme during January includes an optional English language course and heaps of fun activities. You have plenty of opportunities to make new friends while exploring Nelson and surroundings, with a day trip to the famous Abel Tasman National Park, visiting Cable Bay to embrace your inner Robin Hood during an archery tournament as well as Go Karting at Tahunanui beach – just to name a few. The two-week programme includes accommodation, activities and meals.

Further study options
Nelson Tasman is a centre for world-class education and plays an important role in training the leaders of the future. The region is home to the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology, an NZQA Category 1 institute (the highest possible), where you can study with students from around the globe - all leading to internationally respected qualifications. Students also come to Nelson to learn and improve their English whilst meeting friends and exploring what the region has to offer.
