The Bug Backpackers Nelson is much more than a bunk and a blanket. Run by travellers for travellers, this hostel has a homely, family atmosphere.

The Bug is a great place to meet and socialise with like-minded, independent travellers. We also offer lots of FREE stuff: unlimited, fast WiFi, breakfast, bicycles and pick-up and drop-off shuttles to the bus station in town.

The hostel, spread over three houses and connected by a relaxing garden with hammocks and fruit trees, features comfortable beds and quality linens. In the colder months, we are fully heated plus offer thick duvets.
